BAYBAY CITY, Leyte - Excellence goes beyond meeting targets, it is reflected in the daily dedication, values, and attitudes that give purpose to work and meaning to service. Guided by this principle, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center VIII (ATI-RTC 8) continued its celebration of Excel Day 2025 with the recognition of exemplary employees during its second day on December 12, 2025.
More than a recognition program, Excel Day 2025 served as a platform to nurture both personal and professional growth among ATI-RTC 8 employees. It highlighted not only outstanding accomplishments but also the everyday acts of commitment, teamwork, and innovation that sustain excellence within the institution.
The second day of the celebration was dedicated to honoring the Panata Awardees, Special Awardees, and the recipient of the Management Choice Award 2025—individuals whose contributions have significantly strengthened the Center’s service delivery and workplace culture.
Panata Awards
The Panata Awards recognized employees who consistently embodied ATI-RTC 8’s core values through their work ethic, positive attitude, and problem-solving skills:
- Light Breaker Award (for coming to work early and working beyond the required time) – Jemboy Gonzaga
- Face Lifter Award (for bringing smiles and positivity to the workplace) – Junalyn Palco
- Back Packer Award (for being ready to help and quick to serve) – Angelo Cababag
- Scrapper Award (for maximizing value and managing costs efficiently) – Joshua Sinoc
- Decoder Award (for finding solutions to problems) – Gizell Jill Nuñez
- Tide Turner Innovative Award (for introducing original and innovative ideas) – Christian Keruel Laurente
- Equalizer Award (for maintaining balance in the workplace) – Junalyn Palco
Special Awards
Special Awards were also conferred on individuals whose unique strengths and dedication stood out:
- Cliff Jumper Award (for being a risk-taker) – Ma. Valerie Labareño
- Bloomer Award (for maintaining a clutter-free workstation) – Fe Rovelyn Ruales
- Mountain Mover Award (for being an efficient and effective multi-tasker) – Ruchel Gariando
- Mission Possible Award – Oshielah Bandalan
Management Choice Award 2025
Capping the recognition ceremony was the awarding of the Management Choice Award 2025, given to an employee who made a positive impact on the institution and demonstrated exceptional reliability, quality of work, initiative, and professionalism. This year’s recipient was Junalyn Palco, whose dedication and consistency earned the esteem of ATI-RTC 8 management.
As Excel Day 2025 drew inspiration from the collective efforts of its workforce, the second day of celebration reaffirmed ATI-RTC 8’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence—one that recognizes not only achievements, but also the values and attitudes that drive meaningful service.
