BAYBAY CITY, Leyte - The advancement in technology is a huge advantage for online marketing. It can be used in the promotion of agricultural products and supplies using online channels thus, increasing online visibility and reaching more potential customers.
With this, ATI-RTC 8 developed a one-day seminar for the farmers in the region. The activity aims to orient participants on the use of online marketing platforms for marketing and promotion. In particular, participants learned about the basics of photography, graphic design using Canva, ways of online marketing for agricultural promotion, and developed photo cards and videos of their farm products. Ms. Gracielle Dawn Gamoting, faculty of the Visayas State University Department of Business Management, also shared the Understanding Marketing and Online Landscape and guided the participants to build their online presence making way to sell their farm products online.
A total of 51 participants completed the two batches of Seminar on Online Marketing on April 12, 2024 and June 18, 2024, respectively, at ATI-RTC 8, VSU Campus, Baybay City, Leyte. (With reports from Emie O. Uy)
