In celebration of its 38th founding anniversary, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) turned compassion into action by organizing a Bloodletting Activity that brought together government agencies, private individuals, and health professionals in a shared mission to save lives.

Held in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross and supported by Dr. Hannah Erlin G. Rota of the Department of Health (DOH), the event successfully collected 44 bags of blood, each one a potential lifeline for patients in need across the region.

Beyond the numbers, the initiative was a shining example of community spirit. Representatives from various national government agencies—including the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS), National Housing Authority (NHA), National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Education (DepEd), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)—stepped forward to roll up their sleeves in support of the cause. Private individuals also joined the effort, further amplifying its impact.

ATI officials expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of support. “This bloodletting drive reflects the very heart of ATI’s mission—not just to serve in the field of agriculture, but to uplift lives in every way possible,” OIC Center Director Gerry R. Pagarigan said.

More than just a commemorative activity, the blood donation drive was a powerful reminder of how collective goodwill can make a lasting difference. It underscored the importance of unity, compassion, and public service—core values that ATI continues to uphold as it enters another year of dedicated service.

By giving the gift of life, donors and organizers alike have helped turn ATI’s anniversary celebration into a moment of hope, health, and humanity.
