One of the YFFLTPJ trainee, Jephone Saquian expressed, “As a young farmer and a catalyst of farming, I am very delighted with this empowerment which prepare us with full load of information, knowledge and skills. I now hold a significant role to empower others to venture to farming and allowing them to see the opportunities that farming could give. I am very thankful and grateful together with ATI and partner agencies whom gave me this opportunity.”

OIC-Center Director Gerry R. Pagarigan, DVM challenged the trainees to be the future farmer leaders for the youth in the region. He also encouraged them to live with the Filipino values of being "mapagkumbaba" when they're in Japan.
