The ATI has intensified its provision of scholarships to further encourage and increase participation in agriculture amongst the Filipino youth by offering the third batch of the EAsY Agri which shall commence on the First Semester of School Year 2023-2024.

CRITERIA OF ELIGIBILITY

The following are the general criteria of eligibility and corresponding requirements  to be submitted by the applicant to qualify for the scholarship:

Primary Documentary Requirement

 

1. A Filipino citizen;

2. Not more than 30 years old at the time of  application to the scholarship;

 

Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) or  National Statistics Office (NSO) copy of the  birth certificate;

 

 

A son or daughter or ward of a farmer/  fisherfolk, whose parents/guardians are  registered or have applied for registration  in the RSBSA, with an annual gross income  of not more than Php 120,000;

 

 

Certification from the Municipal  Agriculture Office that the applicant is a  bonafide son/daughter or ward of a small scale farmer/fisherfolk with RSBSA  registration number or a Certification of  filing for registration from the Municipal  Agriculture Office;

Certificate of Indigency issued by the  Barangay Captain;

 

A graduate of Senior High School with a  GPA/GWA of at least 85% who is willing to  pursue a college degree in agriculture,  fisheries or any agri-related course;

 

Certified true copy of Senior High School  Report Card (Form 138) or photocopy of  the High School Report Card signed by the  applicant’s adviser or principal;

 

A passer of the entrance/qualifying  examination or equivalent assessment  prescribed by the school;

 

Application documents to the chosen SUC  or a copy of the result of the entrance /  qualifying examination.

 

Must not be a delinquent scholar of a  previous scholarship;

 

Notarized Affidavit of non-delinquency in  any previous scholarship signed by the  applicant (Annex 1)

 

Must have no pending case

 

Certification of good moral character from  the school last attended or the Barangay,  or a Police Clearance

 

Must not be related by consanguinity or  affinity within the 2nd degree to any ATI  employee 

(i.e. parent, sibling, child, grandparent,  grandchild, spouse, parent-in-law,  daughter/ son-in-law)

 

Notarized Affidavit of No Relation with  any ATI Employee signed by the applicant  (Annex 1)

 

Submission of duly accomplished  Scholarship Form

 

Accomplished Scholarship Application  Form with a 2” x 2” picture

 

Physically and mentally fit

(An individual, including the differently abled, who is capable of performing the  duties and responsibilities of a scholar as  stipulated in the Guidelines)

 

 

 

Certification of

a. good health from a government physician with X-ray and negative drug test results, and

b. mental fitness issued by the Guidance  Counselor of the scholar’s chosen  University or from a government/  private institution

Both must be taken within the last two months and to be submitted only if the applicant qualifies for the shortlist.

1. A passer of the entrance/qualifying  examination or equivalent assessment prescribed by the school;

 

Certificate of Admission

 

 

 

Certified true copy of High School diploma to be submitted within one academic year from the acceptance of the scholarship.
