The Philippine Action Plan for Farming Families (PAP4FF) emphasized that agriculture is a family affair. Phases in food production adhering to the value chain cannot be done by one person alone in the family. Every member should hone his skills in agri-fishery production for a collaborative effort in helping one another to achieve their goal. With this setting, ATI-RTC-CAR conducted a training on Organic Agriculture Farming System for Fathers of the Farm Families on May 29-31, 2023.

The training aimed that after the training the fathers of the farm families would be able to produce crops and poultry employing organic agriculture farming system.

Participants were taught on basic swine production, basic free-range chicken production, basic organic vegetable crop production and basic composting.

Also, fathers of the farm family were exposed to the different concoctions of organic agriculture to be used as fertilizers and natural inputs for crop production.  These concoctions were on Fermented Plant Juice; Fermented Fruit Juice; Oriental Heb Nutrient; Fish Amino Acid; and Calcium concentrates (using eggshell and edible shells, and animal bones).
