DILIMAN, QUEZON CITY – Behind every clean and comfortable stay in ATI’s dormitories is a dedicated team that works quietly yet tirelessly. Recognizing their vital role, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) launched a Training on Housekeeping Services for dormitory managers and staff from its regional training centers and Central Office.
The five-day course aimed to sharpen the participants’ skills in maintaining cleanliness, order, and guest satisfaction—key elements that define ATI’s hospitality standards. From sanitizing rooms and replenishing supplies to ensuring safety and responding to guest needs, participants revisited the essentials of excellent service.
As ATI expands its facilities and accommodates more learners and partners, the Institute continues to invest in its workforce’s growth. Through this capacity-building program, ATI reinforces its commitment to providing guests and trainees with a pleasant, professional, and welcoming environment.
Organized in partnership with TESDA-Mandaluyong, the training followed the Housekeeping NC II competency standards, aligning dormitory operations with industry benchmarks. Eighteen selected ATI staff took part in the hands-on sessions and discussions covering:
- Front office and housekeeping fundamentals
- Proper cleaning techniques and equipment handling
- Workplace safety and handling difficult situations
- Laundry and linen care
To measure its impact, the program adopted a four-level evaluation scheme assessing participants’ reactions, learning outcomes, job performance, and certification results.
Held from October 6–10, 2025, at the Rural Development Education Center (RDEC) in Diliman, Quezon City, the training showcased ATI’s dedication to service excellence—ensuring that every visitor and trainee feels at home in any of its training centers across the country.
