
DILIMAN, Quezon City – In adherence to the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 - Quality Management Systems (QMS), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Central Office recently conducted its 23rd Management Review to ensure complete alignment of the organization’s strategic direction, emphasizing the suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness of the management system.
The activity convened members of the ATI Management Committee, including the Directorate, division chiefs, section chiefs, unit heads, representatives, and the head of the ATI Employees Association.
ATI Director Remelyn R. Recoter, MNSA, CESO III, presided over the meeting and highlighted the Institute’s commitment to excellence. “We will be full blast this 2025, just like last year and thank you everyone for your cooperation and full support and active participation with all of the activities in the Institute, we did our best to attain the objectives of our Institute. … We are also gearing towards preparation of our budget in consideration of the transformational agenda, which will be the basis for our budget proposals for the FY 2026-2028.” she stated.
Discussions centered on the performance and effectiveness of the QMS, as well as the evaluation of internal and external service providers. Operational concerns, particularly those related to monitoring and evaluation, were also addressed. A key highlight of the review was the assessment of procedures across all operating units, focusing on the digitalization of documents and harmonization of reportorial requirements—initiatives that aim to create an enabling environment for continuous improvement within the Institute.
The two-day activity took place on February 20-21, 2025, at Training Hall I, Rural Development and Education Center (RDEC) Building, in Quezon City.
