Loyalty in Action

ย

Quezon City, Philippines โ€” The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) will mark its 39th anniversary, a significant milestone celebrating nearly four decades of transformative interventions, innovations, and training services in the agricultural sector.

Under the theme "Loyalty in Action: Driving Agricultural Excellence Through Service and Accountability," the celebration will be held on January 29, 2025 at the Rural Development and Education Center (RDEC), highlighting the Instituteโ€™s commitment to public service.

One of the key highlights of the celebration will be honoring 130 Loyalty Awardees who have rendered 10, 20, 25, 30, and 40 years of service in the public sector, along with retiring personnel, recognizing their valuable dedication and contribution in providing knowledge and technical expertise to various stakeholders.

The program will also showcase how the instituteโ€™s core values have been consistently upheld over the years, ensuring that agricultural extension services remain responsive to the evolving needs of the nation.

Furthermore, the celebration will feature the unveiling of knowledge products and publications, including Extension and Training Roadmap for Priority Commodities 2026-2030, the Compendium of Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Policies 2022-2025, YIPOA Success Stories (Organic Roots, Rising Shoots), and EASY Agri Journeys (Harvesting Wisdom: Stories of Journeys). These resources will support agricultural training and extension programs across the country.

ATI will also present several infrastructure and site development projects aimed at improving learning and administration capacities, such as the photowalk of the ATI Program Learning and Discovery (LeAD) Center, the groundbreaking of the multi-purpose building andย  two-storey dormitory, and the ATIng Tekno Hardin.

The celebration is expected to be attended by over 400 participants, including guests and staff from Regional Training Centers (RTCs).

Through these initiatives, ATIโ€™s 39th anniversary reflects the collective effort of the Central Office and its regional network in strengthening Philippine agriculture and supporting a food-secure future.
