Diliman, Quezon City - The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), through its Operating Units (OUs), successfully concluded its annual operational planning workshop on January 16, 2026, advancing a unified strategic direction and strengthening implementation across the Institute.
Director Remelyn R. Recoter congratulated all personnel of the Institute for a job well done and extended her gratitude for a productive year. She encouraged continued commitment in achieving the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) goals and priorities, while sharing key directives and policies for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 and beyond. Assistant Director Antonieta J. Arceo complemented this with administrative policy updates and additional directives.
During the activity, the physical and financial performance of each OU was also presented, showcasing key accomplishments and ATI’s strong growth over the past three years. Outstanding personnel were also recognized for their perfect attendance and consistent participation in flag ceremonies.
Throughout the breakout sessions, each OU assessed past performance, identified challenges, finalized their FY 2026 programs, projects, and activities (PPAs), updated their Project Procurement Management Plans (PPMPs), adjusted their indicative FY 2027 plans and budget proposals (PBPs) and prepared indicative FY 2028 PB. These efforts ensure ATI’s strategic priorities are translated into actionable targets, reinforcing its role as the DA’s extension and training arm and charting a clear roadmap for continued success.
The operational planning workshop was held from January 13 to 16, 2026 at the ATI Rural Development Education Center and in Bauang, La Union.
