Coffee growers in Mindanao have adopted the Regenerative Agriculture Calendar with Money In and Out, a farmer-friendly tool that promotes financial management, encourages sustainable agricultural practices, and increases farm planning.
The said method was developed by the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), Nestlé Philippines, and the German Corporation for International Cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, or GIZ).
Today, more than 3,000 Robusta coffee growers from Sultan Kudarat and Bukidnon are using the Regenerative Agriculture Calendar with Money In and Out which led to an empowered and sustainable coffee business in Mindanao.
The program, which was created especially for Robusta coffee production, integrates fundamental revenue and spending monitoring with the concepts of regenerative agriculture. It assists farmers in implementing climate-smart techniques that enhance long-term profitability, optimize input utilization, and restore soil health.
