Her Excellency Dana Kursh, Israel Ambassador to the Philippines, together with the CEO of Agrostudies International Training Center, the implementing partner for the Philippine-Israel Internship Program for the Youth (PIIPY), visited the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) on February 26, 2026, at the ATI- Central Office, Diliman, Quezon City.ย 

The meeting was attended by the Israel Embassy, Agrostudies, DA-International Affairs Division (IAD), and ATI. The Israel Ambassador expressed her eagerness to foster more collaborations with ATI, providing the Filipino youth with exposure to agricultural technologies and practices, which would be adapted upon their return to the Philippines.ย 

Discussions centered on updates regarding PIIPY Batch 1 interns, ATIโ€™s operational monitoring in Israel, the updates of PIIPY Batch 1 interns, details on the return of Batch 1 and departure of Batch 2 interns. The Agrostudies commended the ATIโ€™s sustainability efforts, providing start-up capital support to interns to implement the Business Enterprise Plans (BEPs) developed during the internship upon their return to the Philippines.

The Israel Embassy, Agrostudies, and ATI reaffirms their commitment to bridging the nations to and empowering youth through global exposure - rekindling their passion to advance the agriculture and fisheries sector.
