QUEZON CITY - The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), through its Career Development and Management Division (CDMD), successfully conducted the Improvement of Training System Series: Gamification, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing the capabilities of its workforce in delivering engaging and learner-centered virtual training sessions.ย
Forty-two staff from the ATIโs network of training centers, including the Central Office participated in the training series. The activity aimed to effectively apply gamification concepts, principles, and strategies through digital tools to create engaging, interactive, and participant-focused virtual training sessions.\
The sessions were facilitated by experts from YGOAL, Inc. who discussed the topics on the foundations of gamification, strategies for gamified virtual facilitation, digital tools for gamified learning design, and designing gamified learning experiences using online tools.ย
To put these concepts into practice, the participants engaged in breakout sessions where they developed gamified learning strategies and explored various digital applications. They capped off the activity by designing and presenting their own gamified training modules, showcasing their ability to apply gamification principles, digital tools, and effective facilitation strategies in practical learning settings.
Overall, the activity equipped participants with hands-on digital tools and techniques to create dynamic, learner-centered virtual training, advancing the Instituteโs ongoing efforts to further enhance its training delivery system.ย
