Year-End Assessment for EAsY Agri scholars and EdGE Scholarship Programs Held

Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City---A Year-End Assessment for the Educational Assistance for the Youth in Agriculture (EAsY Agri) and Educational Grant for Extension Workers (EdGE) Scholarship Programs transpired at the TIEZA- Gardens of Malasag, Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City on December 27-28, 2023.

This semestral assessment is conducted to serve as an avenue for scholars to raise their issues and concerns, share the actions they have taken, and provide recommendations.

Scholars

Center Director Maria Lydia A. Echavez, the Scholarship Program Focal Person reviewed the Scholarship Guidelines and reminded the scholars on their Obligations and Responsibilities.

One of the highlights of the activity is the discussion with Mr. Efren C. Macario, CPA on “The Seven (7) Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen Covey, a holistic approach both in life and professional growth that aims to foster a proactive and purpose-driven mindset and cultivate habits towards a commitment to continuous self-improvement. After the discussion, the scholars had the opportunity to share their visions in relation to the seven (7) principles.

Additionally, the Local Scholarship Committee gives accolades to exceptional students for their prompt submission of scholarship monthly reports and certificates of merit for the following scholars who earned a GPA higher than 1.5 which include Jay Marie B. Generalao, Ayah B. Alido, Jose Mei W. Barrio, Starlyn B. Pasco, and Ma. Joylyn H. Yaconas.
