The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center X (ATI-RTC X) currently conducting a five-day Training of Trainers on Coconut Hybridization and Nursery Management at the Philippine Coconut Authority—New Coconut Seed Production Center (PCA-NCSPC) in Aroman, Carmen, North Cotabato.
Twenty-five (25) participants composed of eight Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) and 17 farmer-leaders from region 10 were invited to enhance their knowledge and practical skills in coconut hybridization techniques and nursery management.

ATI-RTC XII OIC-Center Director Dr. Jessie V. Beldia, graced the training and shared the importance of capacitating farmers with science-based knowledge, sustainable practices, and leadership values to uplift coconut production and improve farmers' livelihoods.
Moreover, PCA XII Division Chief Arnel Toraja, expressed his gratitude to the participants and highlighted the relevance of the activity in boosting the coconut industry. He also encouraged them to take the learnings beyond the lecture room and become champions of innovation and productivity in their communities.

Meanwhile, ATI-RTC X Training Specialist II and Project Officer Noriel Kris O. Santillan presented the training overview. He also informed the participants about the training objectives, expected outcomes, and their vital roles in promoting the development of the coconut industry after the training.
The five-day training runs from April 7 until April 11, 2025.
