Annual Report 2022

Tue, 01/24/2023 - 13:35

The unsteady price of goods and inputs, climate change, the conflict between countries, and aging farmers, are a few of the many issues that contribute to food insecurity. At present, the aftermath of COVID-19 still lingers in each of the people’s lives and once again placed the AF sector to the test. But, Filipinos have been known to be resilient in the face of crisis. Our farmers, despite the calamities and socio-economic concerns they’ve experienced, continue to rise, strive, and practice agricultural mechanization as a way to increase efficiency in production and address labor problems. In 2022, the ATI-RTC X extended its ability to empower Northern Mindanao Agriculture Extension Workers (AEWs) and our farmers and fishers beyond boundaries. The Center strived to capacitate Agriculture and Fisheries stakeholders for Filipinos to not merely be resilient but equipped and strengthened, as well.
