DILIMAN, Quezon City – After serving as the Officer-in-Charge since September last year, Rosana Mula on Tuesday took oath as the Director IV of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) administered by the Department of Agriculture Secretary William Dar.
Mula replaced former director Alfredo Aton, who retired from service in 2021.
After the ceremony, she sat down for a quick dialogue with the Agri Chief on further directives and plans for 2022.
During the ATI’s first flag-raising ceremony of the year, Mula urged the Institute’s workforce to remain steadfast in working towards the transformation of the sector, anchoring all development initiatives on the “OneDA Reform Agenda” of the Department.
She hoped that all ATI employees have renewed their commitment to provide over and beyond quality of public service as the new year starts, and directed them to “align all programs and projects on the OneDA Reform Agenda.”
Likewise, she immediately called for a meeting with the rest of the ATI officials in connection with this year’s marching orders, major burning issues, and rehabilitation and recovery plan for typhoon Odette-affected regions. This was also following the previously held DA Management Committee meeting last December 29.
Some of these marching orders and ways forward include the effective fund utilization strategies, proactive planning and program implementation for 2022, creation of the OneDA Reform Agenda operations manual, and the institutionalization of the food systems approach.
Prior to her oath-taking ceremony held in the DA – Office of the Secretary, Mula was among the DA officials who have joined a meeting in Malacañang for the announcement of their official appointments last December 27. The said meeting was led by Senator Bong Go and Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.
