The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) has crafted a cutting-edge monitoring system called the Unified Extension System Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Information System (UnExSys), designed to aid in the effective data management of the agency’s agri-fishery extension services.
UnExSys is intended to provide a comprehensive and systematic approach to extension activity management, from planning to implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
It consists of four major components, the Online AEW Registry System, Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation (PME) Information System, AFE Resource Management, and Announcement Board and Calendar Notification.
In preparation for the system’s take-off this year, ATI-Central Office has trained personnel from all ATI networks on the system's functionalities. Representatives from the region of the said training were Planning Officer II Jerry C. Carpentero and Performance Evaluation Officer I Engr. Chona Vae Canete of the Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Unit (PMEU).
Furthermore, a re-echo orientation was conducted by the PMEU on March 6, 2023, to ensure that all project officers and technical staff understand the proper implementation and usage of the system.
With this new monitoring tool, ATI-RTC XI can now efficiently and accurately collect and automate all necessary data to improve services for the AFE sector in the region.
