The ATI in collaboration with the DA-National Corn Program is conducting an internship program for young corn farmers to provide opportunities for the youth to acquire the applicable knowledge, skills, and practices specifically on corn-based agri-entrepreneurship with farm partners shall mentor these interns on the farm activities within the corn value chain.

Combining different production components is a sustainable approach due to the different products produced especially during calamities. Multiple Cropping-based farming systems are common in modern farming approaches that are geared toward sustainability. In terms of production, yields from multiple-cropping systems are generally more stable long term. It also promotes efficient land use, as the production per unit is greater than that of monoculture farming systems.
