Panabo City – Three almuni of the Young Filipino Farm Leaders Training Program in Japan (YFFLTPJ) Batch 2024 presented their agribusiness proposals to ATI-RTC XI on March 18, 2025, as part of an assessment for feasibility, sustainability, and potential funding support.
Representing different provinces in Davao Region, Blazzy Cybelle Grace Y. Reyes (Cateel, Davao Oriental), Jerry Miah T. Roble (IGACOS, Davao del Norte), and Jenjean B. Abris (Maco, Davao de Oro) pitched their business ideas before a panel of experts, where they provided constructive feedback and strategic recommendations to refine the proposals.
This aims to strengthen their ventures ahead of the final pitching session with the ATI Central Office on March 26-27, 2025, where they will compete for financial assistance.
The panel of experts included Asst. Center Director Olivia Gatus, CDMS Chief Ofelia Sanchez, ISS Chief Lucille Camarines, Admin Officer Norsaeb Lumandong, Agriculturist II Felson Jay Mahumot, and Accountant James Phillip Saludares. The graduates were also joined by their respective LGU Coordinators for additional support.
This initiative aligns with Republic Act 10679, or the Youth Entrepreneurship Act of 2015, which promotes financial literacy and entrepreneurial development among young Filipinos through education and specialized training programs.
