Twenty-five (25) empowered young farmers from the Municipality of Pikit  have successfully completed the Binhi ng Pag-asa Program Municipal Training Batch 9 held on October 5-7, 2022 at ATI Satellite Training Center, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.

During the closing ceremony, Dr. Sustines U. Balanag Provincial Agriculturist extended his support to the graduates as they venture in farming.  Dr. Balanag also ensured that the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist together with allied government agencies will assist the young agripreneurs in marketing their farm products.  

Also present in the closing program was Hon. Jonathan M. Tabara, Board Member of the 1st District Province of Cotabato. He encouraged the graduates to be active and avail  the different youth programs by the government. Hon. Tabara also shared his life experiences and journey to inspire the youth.

Meanwhile, Judy C. Gomez Provincial 4-H Coordinator delivered her heartfelt congratulations to the graduates and thanked them for actively participating during the whole duration of the program. In her message, she hoped that these aspiring farmers will eventually become successful agripreneurs and sustain their livelihood projects.

The graduates' leadership skills and core values were strengthened. The said training also served as an avenue to the participants to be equipped with necessary knowledge and techniques on Free Range Native Chicken Production and Feed Formulation as they start their own agri-enterprise.
