TANTANGAN, South Cotabato- The DA-ATI RTC XII, through Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Program (RCEP) headed by Engr. Mokles P. Buisan successfully conducted another 12-day Training of Trainers on Inbred Rice Seed Production and Farm Mechanization for Farm Schools, and Agricultural Extension Workers in Region XII and BARMM from June 6-17, 2022, at DA-ATI RTC XII, San Felipe Tantangan, South Cotabato.
Twenty (20) participants from different farm schools were able to learn theoretical and practical knowledge and skills on various topics, from land preparation, machine operations, and seedling preparation to post-harvest operations through the PalayCheck System.

Moreover, each group was able to conduct and present the Agro Ecosystem Analysis (AESA). Participants also individually presented their assigned topics on micro-teaching as preparation for training management and modified Season-long Farmers Field School (FFS) on the Production of High-Quality Inbred Rice and Seeds implementation.

In his closing message, Center Director Abdul I. Daya-an thanked the new faces of trainers who actively participated in various indoor and field activities and reminded them of their responsibilities as trainers.
