The Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Training Institute Regional Training Center XII (DA-ATI RTC XII) proudly commends 25 Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) from across Region XII and BARMM for completing the 3-day Training of Trainers on the Farmer-Scientist Research and Development Extension (RDE) Training Program. Held from February 20-22, 2024, at the ALC Hall, ATI-RTC XII, Barangay San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato, the program aimed to equip AEWs with advanced skills and knowledge in agricultural practices.

The training sessions were facilitated by esteemed resource persons from the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB). Ms. Wilma S. Velasco, University Researcher I, alongside University Research Associates II Mr. Byron Amadeus G. Cayabyab and Mr. Augustus Franco B. Jamias, and University Researcher I, Mr. Romnick C. Talde, delivered insightful topics crucial for enhancing the expertise of the participants.

During the closing ceremony, OIC Center Director (CD) Shirley L. Beldia delivered a motivational message to the graduates, emphasizing that AEWs must continually elevate their knowledge and skills in line with evolving agricultural technologies. OIC CD Beldia, alongside Ms. Alma G. Camales, DMO II and Corn Focal Person, presented the Certificates of Completion to the graduates.
