On May 15, 2024, the third day of the Training of Trainers (TOT) on Corn Production and Post-Harvest Management for Agricultural Extension Workers and Farmer Leaders in Region XII (Batch 2) was held at ALC Hall, ATI RTC XII, Brgy. San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato. The session focused on enhancing the capabilities of farmers to manage their cropping systems effectively.

Engr. Baidido S. Lawan, SRS II and Corn Specialist for MAFAR BARMM, led discussions on key topics, including Harvesting and Post-Harvest Practices, Corn-Livestock Integration, and the preparation of Farmer Field School (FFS) Curriculum and Guide. Additionally, she covered essential ecological concepts like the Food Chain and Food Web in Corn Production, equipping participants with the knowledge to improve decision-making in their farming systems.

Participants actively engaged in discussions and hands-on activities, which aimed to empower them to identify production challenges and adopt best practices to address these issues in their respective fields.
