Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat - More than one hundred coconut farmers from Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat, convened for the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Program (CFIDP) Information Caravan on April 5, 2024.

Led by a consortium of governmental agencies, including PhilMech, CDA, PCA, PCIC, CHED, and DTI, the CFIDP Information Caravan served as a beacon of hope and opportunity for the coconut industry in Sultan Kudarat Province. Each agency brought forth a wealth of knowledge, presenting a comprehensive overview of their respective programs and services tailored to elevate the coconut industry.

Romeo Difunturom, the Municipal Cooperative Specialist, welcomed attendees with open arms, underlining the pivotal role of community solidarity in the journey towards agricultural prosperity. Various messages of support echoed through the venue, delivered by local dignitaries such as Rufino S. Lama, representing the LGU Secretary of Senator Ninoy Aquino, Mayor Randy L. Ecija, Ron James Gomez, HVCDP Coordinator representing Municipal Agriculturist Cherry Difonturum, and Jill F. Geollegue, the Municipal Agri Fishery Council Chair of Senator Ninoy Aquino. Their presence underscored a collective commitment to fostering growth and resilience within the agricultural sector.
