TANTANGAN, South Cotabato – The Regional Selection Committee (RSC) of the Philippine-Israel Internship Program (PIIP) has successfully concluded its desk evaluation for Batch 1 on May 16, 2025, meticulously assessing applications from young aspiring farmers across Region XII and BARMM.

A total of 27 applicants submitted their documentary requirements for consideration. After a comprehensive review process, 19 candidates were found to have met the initial qualifications and are now eligible to proceed to the Regional Qualifying Examination, marking the next step in their journey toward international agricultural training.

The evaluation process was facilitated by RSC members: Simona P. Dela Cruz, Chief of the Career Development and Management Section (CDMS); Jun Rey L. Samillano, OIC-Chief of the Partnership and Accreditation Services (PAS); and John Lord L. Auman, OIC-Chief of the Information Services Section (ISS).

This initiative under the PIIP continues to open opportunities for Filipino youth to gain valuable knowledge and practical experience in Israeli agricultural practices, helping to shape the next generation of innovative agricultural leaders in the country.
