TANTANGAN, South Cotabato – In line with its commitment to foster international agricultural development opportunities, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII) conducted a series of briefing sessions to formally introduce the Philippine-Israel Internship Program to three Provincial Local Government Units (PLGUs) through their respective Offices of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAg).
Led by Ms. Simona P. Dela Cruz, Chief of the Career Development and Management Services (CDMS), and Mr. John Lord L. Auman, Officer-in-Charge of the Information Services Section (ISS), the sessions were held with the OPAgs of Cotabato Province, Maguindanao del Sur, and Sultan Kudarat.
The Philippine-Israel Internship Program is designed to empower young Filipino agriculture graduates by providing hands-on training and exposure to modern farming technologies and best practices in Israel. Through this international exchange, interns gain valuable knowledge and experience, which are expected to contribute to agricultural innovation and economic growth in their home provinces upon their return.
By orienting key provincial stakeholders about the program’s objectives, processes, and benefits, ATI-RTC XII hopes to strengthen inter-agency partnerships and ensure greater participation and support for the initiative, ultimately building a more dynamic and future-ready agricultural workforce in Region XII.
