The Agricultural Training Institute-Region XII (ATI-RTC XII) welcomed a new batch of On-the-Job Trainees (OJTs) from Mindanao State University-General Santos City Campus (MSU-Gensan). The orientation for the OJTs was led by Planning Officer II, Engr. Teofilo T. Jumawan, Jr., who expressed his hopes that the trainees would gain valuable knowledge and skills during their time at the institute.
Information Officer II and OJT Coordinator, Mr. John Lord L. Auman, provided a comprehensive briefing on the institute’s mandates and the requirements for the OJT program, ensuring the students were well-prepared for their 220-hour commitment. Following the orientation, the OJTs were given a tour of the ATI-RTC XII facilities, allowing them to meet the staff and become familiar with the different areas of the office.
The batch consists of eleven students: six from the BS Agribusiness Management Program and five from the BS Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Program. These students are expected to complete a combination of on-site and field services, gaining hands-on experience in agricultural extension and related fields during their stay at ATI-RTC XII.
