MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur- Center Director Abdul I. Daya-an served as Guest Speaker during the MSU-Main Campus College of Agriculture 59th Foundation Anniversary last November 23,2 2022 with a theme Strengthening Agricultural Production for Food Security, Ecological Balance and Viable Economic Enterprise Towards Peace and Development.
His message during the momentous event is his story on how he rose from ranks of being an Agricultural Extension Worker in 1986 to becoming a Center Director today.
He also highlighted in his message the mandate and thematic programs of ATI as well as the various programs and activities of the institute.
CD Daya-an also mentioned the support that was extended to Bangsamoro Region- on how ATI proactively shared the technical resources to uplift the lives of the farmers and fishers in the Region. He added that ATI will continue to live on its mandate as capacity builder of the agriculture and fishery sector and to help the Bangsamoro Region as far as the island provinces of Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.
The program was attended by MSU System Executive Vice Chancellor Engr. Rashid Paca, Ph.D., Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Amerkhan G. Cabaro, College Deans and College of Agriculture Faculty, Staff and Students.
