The Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAg) in South Cotabato recently received its annual Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) support from the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII).

OIC-Chief of the Information Services Section, Mr. John Lord Auman, along with Technical Staff Jovellena Simbulan, turned over various IEC materials, including table and wall calendars for the OPAg staff and clients.

In addition to the delivery, a preparatory meeting was held with FITS Center personnel for the upcoming AgriTalk through ATIng Serbisyo on Wheels, scheduled for February 19, 2024, in Koronadal City. The event will feature a #SkillsLabSession on Hydroponics Technology and an #AgriKids segment.

Attending the meeting were FITS Center Manager Ronald Pacol, Technology Services Specialist Elias Diamante, and Information Services Specialist Paula Candido.

A courtesy visit to Provincial Agriculturist Dr. Raul D. Teves was also held to ensure proper coordination and alignment of extension activities.
