TANTANGAN, South Cotabato- In an effort to enhance agricultural information dissemination, the Information Services Section (ISS) of ATI-RTC XII recently organized its annual Strategic Design Workshop 2024 at the Agri Gabay Studio, ATI-RTC XII, San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato, under the theme "Sowing Innovation, Reaping Transformation."

The workshop focused on key objectives such as conducting a thorough review of the ISS' challenges and best practices from 2023, formulating effective implementation strategies, and exploring innovative approaches for the year 2024.

During the workshop, ATI Deputy Director Antonieta J. Arceo delivered a motivational message, emphasizing the importance of regional training centers, particularly their ISS, in aggressively disseminating agriculture and fishery information. She encouraged ISS staff to propose innovative ideas that are novel, relevant, and transformative.

Center Director Abdul I. Daya-an also expressed his support for the ISS' efforts, acknowledging their contributions and assuring continued support from ATI-RTC XII management for agricultural information dissemination. Following the key messages, ISS staff presented their programs' best practices and challenges from 2023, along with potential innovations, implementation strategies, and collaboration opportunities for 2024.

During the afternoon session, Information Officers II Mr. Jon Ian Belo and Mr. John Lord Auman presented the new e-Learning LMS and DA OSec Protocols, respectively while ISS Chief Ms. Hannadi Guiamad-Pompong motivated the team with her presentation on Innovation for Transformation.

The workshop generated innovative ideas, robust implementation strategies, and potential partnerships. Programs under the ISS’ umbrella are Digital Farmers Program, Techno Gabay Program, e-Extension Program, School On-the-Air Program, Rice Crop Manager, RCEF Strategic Communications, and CFIDP Strategic Communications.

The ISS is committed to maintaining its quality objectives, ensuring the availability and accessibility of agricultural information and knowledge for the AF sector through diverse programs and innovative modalities.
