Diliman, Quezon City- The Agricultural Training Institute through its Career Development and Management Division (CDMD) held an opening program for the 5-day Training of Trainers on Dairy Farm Operations for Goat at Rural Development and Economic Center, ATI Bldg, this City.
CDMD Assistant Division Chief Mr. Emerson S. Yago welcomed the participants and emphasized to maximize the whole duration of the training as the trainees have a crucial responsibility of cascading the technology to respective regions.
Meanwhile, ATI OIC Director IV Engr. Remelyn Recoter, MNSA, delivered an inspirational message to the participants. Director Recoter encouraged them to focus on the training and learn from the expert as the inputs from the training will be rolled over to the Regions.
"Let us focus on how to make the coconut industry resilient and to help our coconut farmers all over the country na maibalik ang lahat ng pinaghirapan nila. Through the training and extension component of the CFIDP, we hope to be of service to our coconut farmers.", she mentioned.
The 5-day training is being participated by selected staff from ATI Regional Training Centers, Philippine Coconut Authority Regional Offices and DA-RFOs. The succeeding days of the training will be held at R.O. Valerio Integrated Farm in Bacolor, Pampanga- a Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) in Central Luzon that specializes in Dairy Goat Production.
Information Officers Mr. Jon Ian Belo and Mr. John Lord Auman represent the DA ATI-RTC XII in this training.
