On the other hand, PCA-BARMM OIC Regional Manager Mr. Datumanong Pendi was represented by PCA-Sulu Senior Agriculturist Mr. Nurdin Laja. Mr. Laja briefly explained the programs and components of the RA 11524 otherwise known as the Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Act.

During the airing, radio anchors explained the SOA's methodologies, output, course content, evaluation scheme and resource requirements. They also laid down a schedule of activities.

Through the SOA on Coconut Production, coconut farmers across the province will be educated on the knowledge and technology in coconut production. Furthermore, the SOA would raise awareness of CFIDP and mobilize strong support and participation from the rural populace while also serving as a quick feedback mechanism and a venue for dialogue among stakeholders in the coconut industry.

As the ATI continues to become the capacity builder, knowledge bank, and catalyst of change in the Department of Agriculture, the SOA on Coconut Production proves necessary in providing the proper coconut production technology to farmers.
