Tantangan, South Cotabato-The Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII) recently hosted a transformative "Training on Learning Enrichment: Design Thinking for Rural Based Organizations (RBOs)" in Region XII. This event took place from September 27 to 29, 2023, at the ATI-RTC XII facility in Brgy. San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato.

Seventeen participants representing 4-H, VLAP, and RICs from Region XII enthusiastically engaged in the training. They collaborated to develop innovative project proposals and activities to benefit their respective organizations.

Resource Speaker Maurice Lennon Ondoy, REB, guided the participants in understanding the fundamental principles of design thinking. This method enabled them to apply the design thinking process and techniques in shaping their project proposals, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.

This training was made possible through the efforts of the ATI-RTC XII Career Development and Management Section, specifically the 4H and RBO Programs led by Focal Person, Training Specialist II May Guiang. The assistance of Technical Staff, Jemari Cen Dacaya, contributed to the success of this program, which aimed to empower rural-based organizations in Region XII with a new set of tools and innovative thinking to drive positive change in their communities.
