The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) - International Training Center for Pig Husbandry (ITCPH) and the ATI RTC XII jointly inspect and monitor two important swine development projects. These projects are a part of the INSPIRE Program of the Department of Agriculture's National Livestock Program, which aims to strengthen the swine industry and improve the livelihoods of communities involved.
Engineers Engr. Sarah Mae Pareja and Engr. Jose Mari Lauya from ATI-ITCPH spearheaded the monitoring team, including ATI XII Livestock Program Focal Person Johnny Pasaquian, Alternate Livestock Program Focal Person Errol Chris Laspiñas, and Engr. Victor Canlas. The engineers and personnel from both organizations visited project sites in LGU-Polomolok, LGU-Tampakan, LGU Esperanza, and the COLIPA Cooperative for two days to ensure that the projects adhere to established guidelines and are sustainable.
The collaborative effort hopes to contribute to the resilience and expansion of the swine industry, promoting excellence and innovation in swine husbandry practices.
