The ATI-RTC XII, by way of its Information Services Section, has undertaken the official turnover of a range of supplies and equipment to facilitate the establishment of FITS Kiosks. The recipients of this initiative are Jmesa's Farm in President Roxas and NEAFI in Pikit, Cotabato. The handed-over equipment includes a printer with a scanner, a steel cabinet, five boxes of bookpaper, two tables, six chairs, and assorted Information, Education, and Communication materials (IECs).
The primary objective of this endeavor is to enhance the accessibility of agricultural and fishery information and services at the grassroots level. By equipping these FITS Kiosks with essential tools and resources, the ATI-RTC XII aims to empower local farmers and fishers, ensuring that they have a convenient and reliable source of information to support their agricultural endeavors. This initiative underscores the institute's commitment to strengthening agricultural practices and knowledge dissemination within communities, ultimately contributing to the growth and sustainability of the agricultural sector in the region.
