A training program, focusing on Coffee and Cacao Nursery Management, took place from July 11 to 13, 2023, hosted at ATI-RTC XII. This training had a clear goal: to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills in coffee and cacao nursery management. The intent was for participants to apply this knowledge personally and share it within their respective communities.
This training was conducted as part of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan. Facilitated by Planning Officer II, Teofilo Jumawan Jr., and Technical Staff Aurish Kizia Calawen, the program provided participants with practical insights and hands-on experience in nursery management. It emphasized not only theoretical understanding but also the application of techniques essential for the effective nurturing of coffee and cacao plants.
The participants, coming from diverse backgrounds, engaged in interactive sessions that encouraged active learning and skill development. The training equipped them with the tools to contribute to the growth and sustainability of coffee and cacao cultivation, fostering a stronger agricultural community poised for greater self-sufficiency and economic development.
