SIMUNUL, TAWI-TAWI - In a concerted effort to uplift the agricultural practices and livelihoods of farmers in Simunul, Tawi-Tawi, the DA-ATI RTC XII recently hosted a significant event. The Farmer-Level Training on Native Goat Production and Management took place in Brgy. Bakong from September 13 to 15, 2023, and drew the participation of 25 enthusiastic individuals.

The training opened with inspirational messages from Center Director Abdul I. Daya-an and PCA-Tawi-Tawi Division Chief Nur-Aina B. Ingkagan, setting the tone for the enriching days that lay ahead. These messages underscored the importance of empowering local farmers and promoting sustainable practices in the region.

The participants were in capable hands, guided by the expertise of MAFAR Tawi-Tawi staff, Mr. Richard M. Jaafar and Mr. Boyet Habibun. Additionally, ATI-XII Admin Support Staff Joseph P. Simpao served as a valuable resource person, contributing to the success of the training. This collaborative effort exemplified the commitment of the DA-ATI RTC XII to enhancing the agricultural landscape of Tawi-Tawi, one farmer at a time.
