As part of its commitment to advancing grassroots agricultural extension services, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII), through its Information Services Section and the Techno Gabay Program, distributed enhancement support packages to selected Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) Centers across Region XII.

The supported FITS Centers are located in the municipalities of Tupi (South Cotabato), Malungon (Sarangani Province), Antipas, Tulunan, and Midsayap (Cotabato), and Lambayong (Sultan Kudarat). Each center received a comprehensive package that includes a promotional booth, laptop, speaker, printer, and wooden cabinet.

This initiative aims to bolster the operational capacity of these FITS Centers, empowering them to better serve their local farming communities by improving access to timely, relevant, and localized agri-fishery information and technologies. Through these enhancements, the centers are expected to become more effective knowledge hubs, playing a vital role in the transfer of technology and innovations at the grassroots level.
