July 25, 2024 — The first batch of participants in the Dairy Milking, Milk Processing, and Dairy Safety Regulation Training eagerly engaged in hands-on demonstrations at the National Dairy Authority's Satellite Office in Malungon, Sarangani Province. Under the guidance of Mr. Jayvee Emejas, participants learned to craft four value-added dairy products: Chocolate Milk, Dulce de Leche, Pastillas, and Kesong Puti in Oil.
This practical training allowed participants to explore precise ingredient measurements and step-by-step processing techniques essential for producing high-quality, market-ready dairy items. Emphasis was placed on stringent safety protocols in milk handling and processing, underscoring the importance of hygiene and safety standards in dairy production.
Through this activity, participants have gained critical knowledge and skills to enhance local dairy processing, promoting safety and quality as foundations for successful dairy enterprises.
