Promising young Filipino farmers from 11 different locations in Region XII and four applicants from BARMM underwent an area validation for the Young Filipino Farm Leaders Training in Japan (YFFLTPJ) 2024 program.
The Department of Agriculture formed the initiative in partnership with the Japan Agricultural Exchange Council (JAEC) to equip young farmers with the necessary skills to become business leaders in the agricultural industry.
The validation team from Career Development and Management Section, led by Training Specialist III Ms. Simona P. dela Cruz, 4-H Focal Person Ms. May Guiang, and Technical Staff Ms. Jemari Cen Dacaya, conducted the validation process.
The applicants were from Surallah, Banga, Kidapawan, President Roxas, Makilala, Mlang, and Tantangan in Region XII, with one from Mamasapano and three from Upi in BARMM.
