The Training on Management of FITS Monitoring Tool and Digital Farmers Program 103 for Rice (Batch 2) took place from April 24-26, 2024, at ATI-RTC XII, San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato. This three-day program brought together 27 FITS Center/Kiosk Managers and Staff from Region XII and BARMM who had previously completed the DFP 101 and 102 courses. The training aimed to deepen their understanding and skills in utilizing digital tools for effective farm management.

During the opening session, Mr. Teofilo T. Jumawan Jr., Planning Officer II, extended a warm welcome to the participants, expressing his optimism that the training would enhance their expertise and provide valuable new experiences. Mr. John Lord L. Auman, Information Officer II, acknowledged the attendees and Ms. Jovellena B. Simbulan, ISS Technical Staff, outlined the training's objectives and agenda.

The sessions were led by Mr. Jon Ian D. Belo, Information Officer II, who introduced the New e-Learning LMS, and Mr. Ralph Grayson A. Calibang, Account Officer of the Land Bank of the Philippines, who provided insights into the Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (ACEF). These discussions aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge for managing data and improving agricultural practices.

The training, facilitated by Mr. John Lord L. Auman and Ms. Jovellena B. Simbulan, focused on enabling FITS managers and staff to effectively collect, manage, and utilize data for evaluation and reporting. The program is designed to prepare participants to create future-ready farmers in their local government units, enhancing their capacity to support agricultural development and competitiveness.
