ATI-RTC XII conducted a one-day Seminar on Financial Literacy (Batch 3) in Lanao del Sur last February 27, 2024.

A total of 50 coconut farmers from the said province participated in the program, which was held at Barangay Matalin, Malabang, Lanao del Sur.

Mr. John Mikel D. Ternida, Accountant I of ATI- RTC XII discussed the basic financial literacy, financial management, farm plan budgeting, and lending programs the farmers may avail.

The said activity plays a crucial role in the overall growth and prosperity of the coconut farming community in the province.

The seminar was attended by PCA-LDS Division Chief I, Khadaffy S. Gubaten, MPA, who delivered a warm welcome message and discussed the role of PCA in the implementation of Coconut Farmers Industry and Development Program (CFIDP).

The said training ended with a closing remarks from Mr. Raymond A. Quilaman, Chairman of Matling Multi-Purpose Cooperative, and Mr. Casim Marohom, Agriculturist II of PCA Lanao del Sur.
