Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat – To strengthen the integration of digital technologies in agricultural services, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII) supported a Training on the Digital Farmers Program for the Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) of the OMAg-Bagumbayan on November 26-27, 2024, at Feta Farm, Brgy. South Sepaka.


During the first day, Ms. Lochie Loraña, Admin Assistant I of OMAg Bagumbayan gave the training overview and Ms. Marnil B. Del Monte, Media Production Specialist II of ATI-RTC XII discussed the DFP 101 & DFP 102, which tackles the importance of essential skills to navigate digital tools trough Agri Apps and other social media platforms to help advertise their own products. These technologies are aimed at enhancing their ability to assist farmers in their localities, providing better access to information, and improving agricultural productivity.


The program was initiated by the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist (OMAg) Bagumbayan in collaboration with ATI-RTC XII. This initiative underscores the growing recognition of the role digital innovations play in modern farming and the need for agricultural workers to stay updated with technological advancements to benefit their communities.
