Tantangan, South Cotabato – May 30, 2025 | A meaningful chapter concluded at the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII) as six student-interns—five from Sultan Kudarat State University – ACCESS Campus and one from the University of Southern Mindanao—officially completed their On-the-Job Training (OJT).
A simple yet heartfelt culmination program was held at the ATI-RTC XII Training Hall to honor the students' dedication and growth throughout their immersive internship experience. Dr. Jessie V. Beldia, OIC-Center Director, warmly welcomed the students and guests with an inspiring message. He urged the interns to carry with them the discipline, knowledge, and values they developed during their time at the Center.
The student-interns shared reflections on their OJT journey, expressing gratitude for the technical skills gained and the genuine camaraderie formed with ATI staff. Many described ATI-RTC XII as a “home away from home,” where they not only applied academic knowledge but also cultivated personal growth.
Adding a personal touch to the program, Mr. John Lord L. Auman, OIC-Chief of the Information Services Section, joined the event virtually to share his insights. He praised the interns’ active involvement in documentation, fieldwork, and community engagement, and recognized the mentoring role played by ATI staff in shaping the students’ professionalism and work ethics.
The event was also graced by SKSU representatives Ms. Normina Mamalinta and Dr. Marissa C. Hitalia, who thanked ATI-RTC XII for its continuous partnership in molding future agricultural professionals. In her closing remarks, Dr. Hitalia acknowledged the students’ transformation during the program and commended their personal and professional development.
The culmination marked not only the end of their training but also the beginning of a promising path forward—equipped with real-world experience, newfound confidence, and a deeper understanding of the agricultural sector.
