On November 12, 2024, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII) and PLDT-Smart officially turned over the Digital Farmers Program (DFP) FarmTech Package to the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist of Maguindanao del Sur. The ceremony, held at the Provincial Capitol in Buluan, Maguindanao del Sur, was attended by notable representatives, including Atty. Cyrus Torreña, Maguindanao del Sur Provincial Administrator, standing in for Governor Bai Mariam Sangki Mangudadatu, MNSA. Other dignitaries included Provincial Agriculturist Engr. Jedahni E. Ulangkaya, RIE; ATI-RTC XII OIC - Assistant Center Director Hannadi S. Guiamad-Pompong; and Romel B. Canaya, Stakeholder Management Specialist for PLDT-Smart.

Engr. Ulangkaya expressed gratitude for the FarmTech Package, emphasizing its potential to benefit farmers across Maguindanao del Sur by providing accessible technology and tools to enhance agricultural practices.

The DFP FarmTech Package is awarded to farm schools or Local Government Units committed to advancing digital agricultural education. It serves as a portable training and livelihood resource, providing farmers with access to technology, connectivity, and agriculture-related content to support their ongoing education and productivity in the field.
