The Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII) was honored to have Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales of the Department of Agriculture - Regional Field Office XII (DA-RFO XII) as the keynote speaker for its 38th Anniversary Program.

Introduced by ATI-RTC XII OIC-Chief of the Partnerships and Accreditation Section, Jun Rey Samillano, RED Perales began his speech by expressing his deep appreciation for farmers, whom he called the heart of the agricultural sector. He underscored the crucial role of DA agencies in shaping both the technological advancements and mindset of Filipino farmers. Emphasizing the DA’s mission for 2025, he called for greater youth involvement in agriculture, recognizing their potential in driving innovation and sustainability.

The celebration was further enriched by messages of support from esteemed dignitaries. Tantangan Municipal Mayor, Hon. Timee Joy Torres-Gonzales, reaffirmed the essential role of farmers as the backbone of the local economy and acknowledged ATI-RTC XII as the municipality’s most valued partner in agricultural development. Meanwhile, Barangay Kagawad Perlita Vallejo, representing Brgy. Chairman Hon. Agustin E. Cabance of San Felipe, reflected on the long-standing collaboration between ATI-RTC XII and the barangay, highlighting shared initiatives that have strengthened local agricultural progress.

The 38th anniversary celebration not only commemorated ATI-RTC XII’s legacy but also reinforced its commitment to fostering agricultural excellence through strong partnerships and youth engagement.
