The DA ATI-RTC XII conducted the Training on 4D Farms' Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Tool Use and Operation on August 22, 2023 at ATI-RTC XII, Brgy. San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato.

Participants from LSA partners, LFTs, and AEWs from Sultan Kudarat were trained to use the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Tool Use through the Rice Crop Manager platform.

The 4D Farms' Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Tool is used to track the adoption of interventions provided by the Department of Agriculture to rice farmers by collecting information on what the farmers have done during the cropping season, which aims to aid the DA in planning and decision-making.

Subsequently, on August 23, they conducted hands-on interviews using the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) tool in Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat. They continued their fieldwork on August 24 in Isulan and President Quirino. These interviews were crucial in real-time data collection and tracking interventions with the 4D Farms' Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Tool. This direct application reinforced the significance of accurate data in the Department of Agriculture's planning and decision-making processes, ensuring effective support for rice farmers.
