On May 29, 2024, the Graduation and Closing Ceremony for the 20-day Basic Meat Inspection Course (BMIC) Batch 4 was held at the NMIS-RTOC XII Training Hall, Prime Regional Center XII, Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City.

Dr. Grace L. Rosete, Supervising Meat Control Officer of NMIS-RTOC XII, extended a warm welcome to the graduates, who were collectively named “BASIC.” She praised their dedication throughout the training. Dr. Myrna I. Habacon, Regional Technical Director of NMIS-RTOC XII, delivered an inspirational message, highlighting the crucial role that BMIC graduates will play in the field of meat inspection.

ATI-RTC XII OIC-Center Director Ms. Shirley L. Beldia also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the participants for their engagement and positive feedback regarding the training. Mr. Johnny H. Pasaquian, Agriculturist II and ATI-RTC XII Livestock Focal, addressed the graduates, sharing his insights and offering commendations.

The ceremony featured reflections from the top five participants, who shared their learning experiences and the impact of the training. Dr. Jose Ariel B. Billones, Supervising Meat Control Officer of NMIS-RTOC XII, delivered the closing remarks, emphasizing the participants' commitment and the significance of their new roles in meat inspection.
