The Resource Person (RP) Development Course for Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) commenced today at the 4-H Hub, ATI-RTC XII in San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato. The opening program featured a warm welcome from Engr. Teofilo T. Jumawan, Planning Officer II at ATI-RTC XII, who greeted the 20 participating AEWs and set the stage for an engaging training experience.

Ms. Ma. Theresa B. Laxamana provided an overview of the training course, offering participants a comprehensive understanding of what they could expect. Her session covered the essential traits and critical tasks of an effective resource person, aiming to prepare the AEWs for their roles in the program.

The course is being facilitated by the Regular Program team, led by Ms. Ma. Theresa B. Laxamana, along with RBO Focal Person Ms. May A. Guiang and Technical Staff Ms. Jemari Cen D. Dacaya. Their collective expertise will guide the AEWs through the development process, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary for effective resource management and training delivery.

This development course is designed to enhance the capabilities of AEWs, ensuring they are well-prepared to contribute effectively to agricultural extension services in their communities.
